I have had an addiction to goats for 35+ years. The last 13 have been strictly Angora Goats. I love everything about them, there personalities, there fiber and the whole goat. Sometimes you have heartache, but for the most part Angoras seem to be a healthy creature, at least on my farm. Although the more you have the more there is to go wrong! I mostly do the work myself so I try and maintain a reasonable number of animals.
I truly love to spin mohair and its slippery feel going through my fingers is a delight. I love the natural colors of fiber from my animal as well as the white. Angora goats are a wonderful hobby and they are about the best therapy you can ask for.
